Drama Queen - Exclusive to The Creative Chicks

Every month on a forum I am a member too, called The Creative Chicks there is a monthly challenge where they post a color palette to make your own kit.  It is always an exclusive to the forum.  If you would love some very cool FTU kits done by some really talented chicks pop on over and join, it's a lot of fun.    Here is my try for August's scrapkit challenge!

New Kit_Kiwi (FTU)

 Finally got my files to upload so I can share them, man I was getting so frustrated with 4shared tonight.

Anyhoo here is the new kit for you, it is tagger size.

New Kit ~ Breezy Day (FTU)

Good morning everyone, I just wanted to share my new kit with you. I am so new to making kits so I hope you all can use this somehow with your creations.  Enjoy!  Please leave comment if you download, thank you.

Supplies Needed:

Any kit of choice
I am using Hope by Mirella at Scrapity Scrap and More

Any tube of choice
I am using Keith Garvey you can purchase his work at PSP Tubes Emporium

Font of choice
I am using One Starry Night and South Pacific

Brushes and or mask of choice.

Filters Needed:

Penta - Dot and Cross

Eye Candy - Gradient Glow

Let's Begin:

Open a 600x600 canvas.

Choose 3 frames from your kit resize them and place where you like.

Over lap them by duplicating one and dragging that layer below the other frame,
take your eraser tool and on original layer erase a portion.

Using magic wand click inside one of your frames
Selections - Expand by whats suitable for frame, I used 4.
Add new layer below your frame and flood fill with color from your tube.
Effects, Plugins, Penta - Dot and Cross w/ these settings:
Amount (72)
Cross Distance (10)
Cross Width (2)

Keep selected.
Copy and paste your tube resize and place where you like
Selections - Invert and hit delete.
Select None

Now repeat above steps for the rest of your frames.

On your tube layers change blend mode to overlay.

Add a drop shadow of choice to your frame layers.

Now we add our main tube, copy and paste it as new layer above your frame.
Duplicate the tube and drag it below your frame.
Back to original erase parts of tube till it looks like it's popping out of frame.

Add drop shadow of choice to the duplicated tube under frame.

Add a new layer at very bottom so you can add your brushes or mask.

Add any elements you would like.

Now add any wordart/phrase of choice, Put a glow on it and the drop shadow of choice.

Add your name. Put a glow on it and the drop shadow of choice

Make sure you put your proper copyright on it as well.

I just decided to give this a try because I want to share my tutorials again as I did years ago. I would also love to share new creations one day, things like masks, templates and wordart. Please bare with me as I am extremely new to blogger and this will be a huge work in progress lol!
